This site has been created by Friends of Fairlee Forest as a window into our public forest lands and trails. Fairlee boasts over 20 miles of public trails through one of east-central Vermont's largest unfragmented forests. With stunning mountain views, rushing streams, and a network of over 80 acres of pristine wetlands, the forests are a valuable recreational resource as well as ideal habitat for northeastern wildlife. Many of the continent's songbird species migrate thousands of miles each year to nest in these forests. This is a treasure to cherish, preserve, and enjoy.
We hope you will find this site interesting and informative, and that you will help make it better by sharing your forest observations, knowledge, experiences, photos, and questions with us on our facebook page.
We'd like to thank Netlify for hosting our site.
